Snap a photo of your welcome, share it on Instagram, and you could win a trip to Austin to meet the artist. In addition, the winner will have VIP access to the artist’s pop up house, invites to exclusive Airbnb events, and we’ll cover your housing in Austin.
Use your imagination, get inspiration from your favorite artist, and show us how many ways you can say “welcome” through pictures.
How to enter
• Snap a pic of your unique “welcome” specifically created for one of the three artists (Snoop Dogg, Capital Cities, or Allen Stone). Your “welcome” should capture the spirit of Airbnb and reflect the distinctive style of the artist. Be original and inventive.
• Follow @Airbnb on Instagram.
• Share a photo of your “welcome” on Instagram with the hashtag #AirbnbMusic and mention the artist’s handle (@SnoopDogg, @capitalcities, or @allenstone). Post your entry to Instagram by February 27, 2014, and be sure your account is set to public viewing.
Judging criteria:
Our judges will select one winner for each house based on the following criteria:
• How much does it reflect the unique style of the artist? Show us you are a great fan of Capital Cities, Allen Stone, or Snoop Dogg! (30%)
• Does it capture the spirit of Airbnb and the theme of hospitality? (30%)
• How original and inventive is the execution? Show us your creativity! (40%)
The prize:
If you win, your welcome Instagram post will be showcased at the artist’s pop-up house. In addition, you and a guest will receive:
• A meet-and-greet with one of the three featured artists during the period of March 11 until March 16, 2014, scheduled at Airbnb’s discretion, and subject to artist schedules and availability.

Snoop and close friend and movie co-star Wiz Khalifa have joined forces to bring you the best 4/20 weekend celebrations. The first show kicks off in Seattle on 4/19. Kick it with big Snoop, Wiz, and special guests at the WaMu theater in Washington. Iza Lach & Snoop Talk Stevie Wonder and Frasier on GGN
Boss Lady Entertainment’s very own Iza Lach comes all the way from Poland to join Nemo Hoes in the GGN Studio this week. Snoop discovered Iza through a SoundCloud contest and has brought her under his wing ever since. They even shot a movie together in Poland. Iza explains how she learned English from watching Frasier and how much of an influence Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson are to her music career.

Snoopzilla & Dam-Funk released their “7 Days of Funk” album in December 2013, and they wanted to offer their fans the opportunity to get involved in the making of a music video! We offered a download of green-screen footage of Snoop & Dam performing the “High Wit Me” song, along with these simple rules: “You can do anything you like as long as it’s creative – shoot new footage, animation, found footage, Snoop and Dam green screen footage or combinations of all of the above.” Snoop & Dam looked through all the submissions and chose their favorite five clips. Check out the playlist of the winning video and the four runner-ups!

Another awesome year of GGN in the books for Snoop Dogg, aka Nemo Hoes. With guests like Larry King, PSY, Charlie Murphy, Russell Simmons, Talib Kweli and many more, the year was full of hysterical and unforgettable moments. CONTEST: Create a Music Video for “HIGH WIT ME” for a chance to win$1000!
CONTEST: MAKE YOUR OWN VIDEO FOR 7 DAYS OF FUNK. Snoop and Dam-Funk want you to make the next video from the 7 Days Of Funk album’s “High Wit Me”.
The rules are simple: Download audio for “High Wit Me” and the green screen footage of Snoop and Dam. Create your own video using the green screen and/or any other footage you want. Once you’ve completed your video, title it “7 Days Of Funk Video Contest”, upload it to YouTube and notify us at team@stonesthrow.com of your submission. We’ll add your video to the contest playlist for all to see and Snoop and Dam to judge.
You can do anything you like as long as it’s creative – shoot new footage, animation, found footage, Snoop and Dam green screen footage or combinations of all of the above so long as it doesn’t infringe another copyright. The deadline is February 17, 2014.
After that we’ll announce the winner on February 24, 2014, taking into consideration view counts, comments, and most importantly which video Snoop and Dam like best. 4 Semi-finalists will get a $200 each and a 7 Days Of Funk 7” box set. The winner will get $1,000, a chance to direct an upcoming video for Stones Throw and a 7 Days Of Funk 7” box set.
